Mon Jun 27, 2016 5:47 am

Any type of Torrent Program out there is going to want all resources if you are trying to allow multiple uploads or wanting to download items and do something else. You can try adjusting the different settings to see if it allows you to not crash and over work the Pi.
Ren: Now listen, Cadet. I've got a job for you. See this button? Ren: Don't touch it! It's the History Eraser button, you fool! Stimpy: So what'll happen? Ren: That's just it. We don't know. Maybe something bad, maybe something good.

I was more just wondering if there was anything I could install and experiment with to understand the logic behind the bitTorrent protocol, but thanks!
My original post was topic no. 22222 on the General Discussion forum, and your post is number 1001000 in the whole forum! This is a strange morning... :o
EDIT: and this post is 1001001. Are we going binary with the post numbers now?

You'll have no problems with Transmission. Keep the d/l queue to less than 5 on the Pi2 and adjust the network throttle as needed. There's ton's of tutorials out there as it's a very common usage. (As you probably know, even Raspbian is distributed via torrent.)

Transmission or Deluge or rtorrent if you want a command line client - all work well ...
