Retractable stick

Mon May 23, 2016 1:06 pm

Hi community,

I was looking through the internet for hours no and I still can't find it  : A retractable stick for the raspberry pi. Here is a link to an image so you can imagine how something like that looks like:

https://www.google.at/search?q=retracta ... pUGJHDM%3A

So in particular I'm looking for an accessory which is a little smaller than the object shown in the picure, but also having this retractable stick on the front - which can be controlled with the raspberry pi.

If you can help me find such an accessory for the raspi, I'd be really thankful! :P

Thanks in advance,
Patrick

Yeah a linear servo is pretty much what I'm looking for - thank you :)

Has anyone made some experience with some smaller linear servo? And if so, do you think this one:

are you planning on carrying around batteries for it?
a CO2 cartridge hooked to an air ram might be more practical. Plus with a second signal wire you could shoot a paint ball.
