Please help me choose a microsd card.

Hello. First time poster here.

I am in the process of getting the peripherals needed for the RaspPi 3 which I have yet to order. I am having trouble purchasing the 8 gb class 6 microsd which the Pi people recommend. So far most cards on ebay are either class 4 or class 10. In looking at data which experienced Pi users have produced concerning size and class of microsd cards, I am totally baffled.

Can someone make it simpler for me, please. As a beginner who will probably start by doing web surfing, watching youtube videos or LibreOffice Writer, which size and class would be most suitable for me and the best buy for my money?

Samsung EVO/EVO+ would be my choice. Very fast. E.g. this.

Be a bit careful of buying on eBay - there are a lot of fakes about. I'd trust Amazon (not Amazon marketplace).
