how to attach load cell or load sensor to raspberry pi

hi. i new to the raspberry pi. i would like to create a project that can measure weight and store the weight data to my raspberry pi.
i not sure what i need to make my project sucess. can someone help me, thanks

You will need an analog to digital converter like an MCP3008.
Note: Any requirement to use a crystal ball or mind reading will result in me ignoring your question.

i am a networking student and im zero knowledge about some electrical part. is all the chip work the same?
for example :
MCP3008 and MCP2434.
right now i have 1 rsberry pi, one bread board.

is that enough to make this project sucess?

btw, is all the load cell work the same?
