How to format SD card for fresh install...[Solved]

Sun Apr 24, 2016 1:24 pm

I have an SD Card with Raspbian on it (was a 32GB SD card used for a Pi Zero) but I'm wanting to format it and fresh install NOOBS for use with a Pi 3. When I incert it into my computer, it shows the the name 'recovery' and is only 1.11GB in capacity (where it should be 32GB).

Can someone please help me here, even when incerting the card into the SD card formatter it shows as 1.12GB...

How can I format this SD card and get back all my storage?

Fixed it, just had to use the adjust size option on the official formatter :)

Marked thread as "Solved" for you.
Trev.
Still running Raspbian Jessie or Stretch on some older Pi's (an A, B1, 2xB2, B+, P2B, 3xP0, P0W, 2xP3A+, P3B+, P3B, B+, and a A+) but Buster on the P4B's. See: https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_pi/raspiidx.htm
