I'll definitely check it out. Why not throwing in teamviewer licenses as prizes as well? Cheap for you to give out and expensive for someone else pay for. Say #3 will choose between 250 Euros or a license of teamviewer. This might help the non-EU entries as well.

We recommend either the Slack Team to talk directly to our developers regarding tech questions (in a private conversation if you prefer) or just send an email to iotcontest@teamviewer.com and we will get back to you. But this might take some time due to the weekend.

Depending on the input we might give away further prizes, check the Terms and Regulations for that. For non-EU submissions there might be legal issues, this is why entrants won't be eligable for the prizes. But also here, if we like an idea very much, we will look for a way to reward it.

(wondering that there are still unique ID's available )

Since the Host currently is only released as a preview, there is no documentation yet. But we are working on it.

Unique IDs are going to be available forever, alltough we started distributing 10 digit IDs some while back.

I'm using jessie on RPi2. When I tried to install this preview Teamviewer, there are many dependencies not met. I've not been able to find installation instructions.

Thank you for this post. Usually the deb file should also install all of the dependencies, but some others users encountered the same error as you did. Actually teamviewer was running, but there has an other issue, teamviewer frozen at login screen............

From lust looking at your output, I would say you are not using Raspbian 8.0, which is the only OS for RPI that we are currently supporting.

Do you plan to support non RPI devices in the future?
