When I set up my RPi I didn't get prompted to put in a username and password. Should I have? Is this an issue.

When I set up my RPi I didn't get prompted to put in a username and password. Should I have? Is this an issue.

The latest version defaults to auto-login to the desktop without needing the userid (pi) or the password (raspberry).

You can change that setup in the configuration app.

Uncheck "auto login"' (user name is pi and password is whatever you choose, but default is raspberry)
