PM sitting in outbox

Thu Aug 09, 2012 5:38 pm

I replied to a PM but it seems to be just sitting in my outbox - how do I get it to go?

I asked this same question a few months ago. It turns out it "working as designed".

It sits in your "Outbox" unless/until the recipient reads it. One side effect of this is that you can edit it (or remove it entirely) anytime up until he reads it.
And some folks need to stop being fanboys and see the forest behind the trees.

(One of the best lines I've seen on this board lately)

This is real useful if you realise you made an arse of yourself before they read it.

Of course if it has moved to sent it's to late all you can do is apollogise. :D
Noob is not derogatory the noob is just the lower end of the noob--geek spectrum being a noob is just your first step towards being an uber-geek ;)

If you find a solution please post it in the wiki the forum dies too quick

That's not a side effect. It's the intended behavior.
