Note : If you used PayPal as a payment method to buy the raspberry pi, you may have to file a dispute and force RS Components to refund you because they do not reply. RS Components have not refunded me so I am going to file a dispute because it has been more than 14 days.
Apologies for the delay in crediting your refund. Our finance team experienced a system error at the beginning of August that has resulted in a backlog of refunds that need to be processed. And asked for the name and address of their legal team to send court documents to and informed them I will now go through the courts for my money.
I'd highly recommend anyone who is having trouble getting their money from this shambles of a company do the same.
