can i install the ubuntu onto a raspberry pi one

so i am wondering if i can install the Ubuntu on raspberry pi downloads page onto a raspberry pi one? or the windows aswell? can i or do i need the two

Unfortunately not - Ubuntu & Windows 10 IoT Core both are compiled to run on a RPi with the ARMv7 CPU of the RPi 2B
Rather than negativity think outside the box !
RPi 4B 4GB (SSD Boot)..
Asus ChromeBox 3 Celeron is my other computer...

Save yourself a lot of pain and just install Raspbian onto your Pi.
Memory in C++ is a leaky abstraction .
