Mon Dec 07, 2015 2:59 pm

Hello,

I have a Raspberry since some weeks, and I would to know with which peripheral I could receive brain wave.

Thank you.

Usually, how does a normal computer receive our brainwave?

With a micro or with a special antenna?

A normal computer doesn't receive brain waves. Very specialised kit does.

One might say a keyboard. Selective, inexpensive and well tested.

Wasn't there a flappy bird game on a Raspberry Pi that was controlled by the mind? Wasn't it in the Raspberry Pi blog in the summer?

Or was it at a Pi Jam? I can't find it on the internet now.

It's very clever considering the RPI is a cheap little computer and they've done that with it. I'm impressed.

So we need an eeg monitor.

But I don't know how to use the one I have in the skull. How can I use it? And can I use it with the raspberry?

Thank you!

The skull?

So I am trying to buy a new one.

Are you saying that you think that almost everyone has an EEG inside their head?

Because that is ludicrous.
1) that defeats the purpose of an EEG if it's already in your head
2) nobody has any brain reading in their brain except mice test subjects.

Alas, the festive season is all over and done for another year. They had the annual Druid gathering at Stonehenge yesterday. So the trolls can go hungry.

I'd be a lot happier with these links to instructables etc. if I could see some assessments by the various authors of the risk factors and safety precautions in their designs. Before embarking on any of these designs, do your homework, and if you still can't see what the risks are then you are not safe to build them.
(Hint - look at the consequences of double-insulated power supplies where the only earth in the system is YOU)
