JXD S7800B Screen w/ Raspberry Pi

Fri Dec 04, 2015 12:59 am

Hey there everyone, I have a question to which i didn't find any answer on Google.

I teared down my JXD S7800B and i got out the screen which has a 31pin ribbon cable.
I wanted to ask if there is some kind of way to connect it to the RasPi2 without paying the same amount of money as I would pay for a completely new screen.

I would be happy for some answers,
Podynando

Not possible unless you can find an adapter that will accept HDMI and input and stuff for your screen as output.

There's a slim chance that this link will be useful: http://blog.reasonablycorrect.com/raw-dpi-raspberry-pi/
note: I may or may not know what I'm talking about...

Thanks for the replies, the link is a bit helpful because i habe now the pins i could use through the GPIO pins, now i just have to find some kind of pinout for the screen, that isn't completely in chinese so i can try to connect them somehow :D
