Why is isn't Icecat Updated on Raspberry Pi.
Is there a version of icecat precompiled for raspberry Pi.

Raspbian Wheezy has IceWeasel ( Firefox ESR 31.8.0 )

Raspbian Jessie has IceWeasel ( Firefox ESR 38.4.0 ) with the latest dist-upgrade

fyi IceWeasel has always been based of Firefox Extended Support Release https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/

Debian no longer list IceCat (SeaMonkey) in their Repository

Look for IceApe instead of IceCat in Wheezy, that was the other rebranded name Debian used

Seems like removed from Jessie

IceApe is based on seamonkey
IceWeasel was renamed IceCat based and based on Firefox.
Of course IceCat is never uptodate on Raspbian repo
