Raspberry pi and reading pH

A (cheapish!) solution for reading pH via a pi? (I was hoping for less than £50?)

There's some code but I'm not clever enough to understand it! (also only available on backorder right now)

Note that he is selling an interface rather than the PH probe.

Once you have a PH probe you could build your own ADC interface (he has given directions how for ghose who prefer to make their own) but as I understand it the majority of the cost is in the probe.

Oh yeh- am aware it is just an interface! Cheap pH probes on ebay are less than £10, and would be accurate enough for my purposes.

It is the interface bit I need- I can sort out an adc on the pi, but have never managed to get an op-amp working so I'd like that bit to be ready made!
