Is there a solution to enable webgl on raspberry pi ?

Sun Oct 25, 2015 5:49 pm

Good evening Sirs,

I saw different topics indicating that there was not possible to run webgl on the raspberry pi.
Is there any new on this point ?

I understood on an another side that the opengl drivers was now "open source" (correct me if i said a mistake).
So is it should more feasable to developp a browser supporting webgl ?

Help... it's to finalize a critical project ...

You might have some luck with the QtWebkit html viewer component that comes with Qt5 on Raspian Jessie.

I have not had a chance to look into this but gles worked fine when I compiled Qt5 from source for Debian Wheezy. Sadly I could not get webkit to build at the time.

I was kind of hoping that as gles was working and now we have Jessie out then there would be a QtWebkit that works with webgl now.
