What's yours called?

Ok, here's a light-hearted thread...

What have you called your Raspberry Pi (ie, what's its hostname?) I've taken to naming computers in our house after (alcoholic!) drinks ( my wife says!), so was casting around for an appropriate name. I came across "Chambord" - a French raspberry based liqueur, so CHAMBORD it is!

I've just had a thought - the three Windows PCs on my network are Fastbox (games machine), Bigbox (NAS & media server), and Littlebox (my stepson's PC).

Following this logic, my Pi should be called Nobox, since it's not currently in a case.

However Nobox sounds like something you'd keep in a bottle under the sink!

Raspberry1 and Raspberry2. Yeah, I know... No imagination but I have run out of Arthurian legend characters...

It makes it easier when you are using pdsh or clush commands to be able to do "clush -w raspberry[1,2] rpi-update" for example.

Although I'm Canadian, I name all of my systems after Australian towns and cities (it's fun). When I found that there's an Australian town named Atherton and an atherton raspberry that grows in Queensland, it was easy to name my Pi atherton.

Mine is currently named with a rock star variant, Kid Napped, because it was stolen from our Raspberry Jam this past Saturday during the confusion of tear-down. If anyone has seen a green, six-layer PC board the size of a credit card, with an Ethernet port, a dual USB port connector, HDMI output jack, RCA composite video output jack, 3.5 mm stereo audio output jack, a micro-USB power input connector, a 26-pin 0.1-inch dual-row ribbon connector, and a dark gray, 8 GB Class 6 Sandisk SD card inserted into an SD card slot on the bottom of the PC board, please let me know.

I've named my machines after towns in Feist's Midkemia universe.
Don't know what I'll call the Pi yet, maybe Caldera where the dwarves are

Callisto (PVR/main PC)
Proxima (gaming rig)
Sojurner (now dead subnote)
Charon (new subnote)

but my two RasPis don't have proper names yet.

I name all my computers after birds (the animal kind), with the name chosen related to the size of the computer. Since raspberry pi is a pretty small, English computer, I named it "rodstrupe". Rødstrupe being the Norwegian name for European Robin, which is England's unofficial national bird.

Named it "Himbeer", after my girlfriend started to referring to it by its German "name".
"Himbeer" is German for "Raspberry", no magic there.
