Was browsing the forums when I came across this recent link:
Quote from liz on October 29, 2011, 01:18

A little preview of what\'s going on at tomorrow\'s RISC OS bash in London.
Which says (my emphasis):
The tiny computer was running Quake on Linux this evening – at an eye-wateringly fast, and totally unplayable speed. Not at all bad for system running on a 700MHz ARM processor!
Does that mean you have fixed what was suspected as being a floating point library issue? The game is running at 1080p resolution at high frame rates!?
Surprised this hasn\'t got more notice (if true)
EDIT: Here is the (widely seen) video which explains the problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_mDuJuvZjI.
