WiFi adapter for Pi2

Thu Aug 20, 2015 8:07 pm

I am going to buy a WiFi adapter,And my router is working in 5GHZ.

I am planning to buy a dual band WiFi adapter and one I found is TP-LINK N600 WDN3200 which uses ralink RT5572 chip.will this work with raspbian out of box.

It should be supported by the rt2800usb package: https://wiki.debian.org/rt2800usb

Though may need to add:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install firmware-ralink
sudo reboot
Rather than negativity think outside the box !

Asus ChromeBox 3 Celeron is my other computer.
