Coloration Error Raspberry Pi 2

Sun Jul 26, 2015 7:58 pm

So I just purchased my raspberry pi 2 and got it in the mail today however after hooking it up it appears as if the coloration is off. Now my first thought is that is missing a color like red or that the colors have been inverted. When I run desktop view (startx) the pi logo background has a blue raspberry instead off red and all the coloration seems to be messed up. So my best guess is that the colors are inverted, and if so, how would I check and in the end fix it?

That sounds like a cabling problem - try reseating the HDMI cable at both ends (You are using HDMI?). Also try another cable.

I have the same problem with color but I'm using xrdp to hook to it. I think it's an update because when I was updating mine it started out red and then ran the update the colors got inverted. This is on a raspberry pi b + mind you.
