Raspberry Pi Forums

Hi,
my Raspi works like a charm. Perfect.
One problem though.
Today I installed KeePass2 with "sudo apt-get install keepass2". No error messages.
I can call the programm in startx with epiphany webbrowser Menu/Addons/KeePass2. The Raspberry is very busy for a short time und displays the KeePass2 ? window for 2-3 sec. and the window disappears again. Thats that - unfortunately.
What can be done?
Any help, every tip or hint is very welcome.

From memory this is a know issue, try KeePassX.

Unfortunately, this is a problem for me, as well. I am using KeePass2 with its database on other devices syncing it via owncloud and KeePassX won't open the database as it's having a different structure (it only works for databases of version 1.x). And now?

Edit: Exporting to a database for KeePass 1.x did the job. But after updating to Jessie everything went fine with KeePass2. Then I moved to a RPi3 with Ubuntu Mate which works like a charm (without probs concerning KeePass 2).

It worked for me, so I'm a happy camper right now.
Just a few steps away from scrapping my PC and going Pi all the way.

So, you are using Raspbian Wheezy not Jessie ?

KeePassX 2 now works with kdbx files. Dunno if it has hit the Raspbian repo yet, though.
