Has n1 used Facebook chat in Midori (Debian) ?

Mon Jul 16, 2012 12:53 pm

I can't open the facebook chat. The main Facebook page loads fine, but once I click on the chat at the bottom-right, it says 'loading ..' but never gets open.

Any suggestion is appreciated.

I don't use Facebook, but Chromium might be a more capable browser?

I tried the instructions on the wiki, but it didn't work on my Wheezy installation.

I tried:
sudo apt-get install chromium-browser

But, I got :

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
chromium-browser : Depends: chromium (>= 10) but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Regards

Nick

Did you do an "apt-get update" first?

EDIT: Ah, looks like that in wheezy, chromium has only been built for i386 and amd64, not the armel that Raspi needs :( http://packages.debian.org/wheezy/chromium
(probably because one of the dependencies doesn't build on ARM yet?)
