Well if it is mine ordered back in April, it should be some time in October. Yep not a happy bunny.

I think if you ordered them you should get it pretty soon. Bulk orders put in now are expected late September.

At the quoted 4000 per day production rate, and a nominal start date of about end of april, number 1 million should roll off at Christmas.
However, if that 4k is per supplier, it'll be a lot sooner.

But how do I tell if I've got the millionth? What serial number will it have?

We will arrange for it to wear a special party hat.

Unfortunately we reserved only 19.931568 bits for the serial number so after the counter reaches 999999 it goes back to zero.

We've had no official confirm/deny yet, but it's possible the serial numbers are randomly generated http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... =29&t=8985

If rPI serial numbers are sequential, the 100K-Pi Pi is coming soon: 314159

19.931568 bits should be enough for everyone.

So if the max serial number is 999999 then the first millionth serial number must be 0?
