Hi eveyrone, im playing some videos in chrome browser on my desktop (NOT A RASPBERRY), and when i want play the video again, my browser doesnt re-download the video (it's cool) because if my internet go down, the browser still playing the video because the download is already done, when I'll try on my raspberry, for little videos (less than 4mb) it's works, but if the video has size more than 4mb, my browser will try redownload the video, if my connection is up, ok, no problem, but it's down, it doesnt work.

This guy has the same problem

For Epiphany? Try dconf-editor:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install dconf-tools
Depending on whether or not it shows up in the main menu for lxpanel, you can run it by going to System Tools>dconf Editor
- or - run dconf-editor from a terminal emulator (or the "Run" dialog which is also in the lxpanel menu).

Then use the hierarchical tree menu on the left side of the dconf Editor window to navigate to org>gnome>epiphany>web>cache-size. You should be able to change the default value from 50 (MB) to something else.

This doesn't change the the buffer size of videos (has been tried before), so no solution to the OP's problem.
Minimal Kiosk Browser (kweb)
Slim, fast webkit browser with support for audio+video+playlists+youtube+pdf+download
Optional fullscreen kiosk mode and command interface for embedded applications
Includes omxplayerGUI, an X front end for omxplayer
