Recommended HDMI-DVI cable?

Sun Jul 15, 2012 7:23 pm

Finding kneeling down in front of the family telly a bit of a pain, so seeking recommendations on a good (ie. proven to work with the Pi ) HDMI to DVI convertor/cable

Saw this one suggested elsewhere: ... 794&sr=8-1 which seems a great price but no confirmation it works with a Pi.

Any recommendations please?

i bought a randon one off ebay and works fine
afaik a hdmi-dvi cable is just a passive adapter with connecting adjacent pins of hdmi to dvi, so all of them should work just fine

Basically everything should work, from the $0.01 eBay to the $30.99 (they really do try to charge that much) at a local home theater store.
{sig} Setup: Original version Raspberry Pi (B, rev1, 256MB), Dell 2001FP monitor (1600x1200), 8GB Class 4 SD Card with Raspbian and XBMC, DD-WRT wireless bridge

I got three from here: (£2.15 each, free p&p)

No problems. Arrived very quickly.

Just remember to set the right things in config.txt in case your monitor doesn't talk to the pi at the right moment (my monitors don't). See
