upnp/dnla

is there a upnp/dnla client available to run on the pi. I would like to be able to plug the pi into my tv and access my NAS via wireless and control it with my wireless mouse. My NAS is the Zylex 310 and has lots of mp4 videos.

Yes - XBMC includes the ability to connect to UPnP server and it can also be controlled by an UPnP controller.

I will download the latest image of openelec/xbmc and try this. I am not sure what you mean by upnp controller. Is this a hardware device or a software menu application. Either way, could you please give me more clues on how to progress with this "project" of mine.
Cheers Don....

In broad terms there are 3 components that are defined in UPnP-AV.
Something that stores the content and hence makes it accessible.
Something that plays (renders) the content do that you can hear/see it.
Something that allows you to control things (select media item X and ask player to play it).
That last piece is the controller.
One device could be all, some or one of those things.
XBMC can be all of them - and interoperate with others that are playing the role of controller or media store.
