WHY? You have already been told that it is potentially antisocial and disruptive to the service provider. It may attract police attention. Speed tests should be run manually and stopped after a short time. Running for longer, or repeatedly, will not tell you anything more. The only exception is if you are trying different configurations -- and that hardly needs the test to autostart.
You are building a very bad profile of yourself -- remember everything you write online will be easy for employers and others to find in years to come. You are also going to lose friends here very quickly if you persist with this sort of thing when you have been advised otherwise.

Because I don't have a screen where I want to run the pi and every time I try to run the command without the pi being connected to the screen I mess up and it doesn't work. I can't get ssh because I am using a ipad and I am frustrated that when I did finally connect it to the tv I only was allowed a few seconds. That is why and I have no idea why It doesn't run and instead of getting frustrated and it not working I want to use the auto run script. Please help! I don't ever intend on doing anything evil or hurtful all I want to do is run a speed test for 1 minute. I don't like doing evil and I think that is bad. I like to help people and this is my own network on one else is on it but me and on occasion my cousins. How is a speed test evil and if you where evil what would you do with a speed test. If I slow anyone down it is myself. I have been trying to get this to work for 30 minutes and it works on screen but never on a keyboard and I don't have nearly enough pis to slow my network down. I also want to make a awesome looking network load graph that is running on my computer and I want to get information like does the network get slower when the devices get closer. I have always wonder that but never knew if it was true plus this lets me complete my original goal. I don't want to login and type the same command ten different times. I want to test this setup in 10 different locations. I am fascinated with computer and computer networks. I also want to try load balancing with this setup. Just thinking about this gets me exited and curious at the same time. I don't want to build a bad reputation and I want the world of computer to be a happy and enjoyable place for people to learn and make discoveries. Auto starting a speed test has great use cases because I could take my keyboard with me to every place I want to test the pi and login and type out the same command but thats if I don't mess up typing or make a list of other mistakes. Do you know I place where I could publish my results. I want other people who are interested in this topic like I am. I want people to learn from my finding and your help. By the way what do you thing should be my next project I am running out of projects to do. I don't mean to be mean evil or harmful in anyway and if I am doing harm please tell me. I want to make the world a better place for everyone and I think my next project should reflect that but I don't know how. One of my favorites it my pi that tweets it cpu temp. That was a lot of fun and I still use it.

I also used that while true command from that post to help me with my tweeting pi which is one of my favorite projects. Every Friday my pi automatically starts calculating pi from 12am to 12 pm and saves it to a one terabyte hard drive. I was thinking about tweeting pi but that would take to many tweets. I have decided to stop this project because I found a better one a pi that tweets that count down to ask an Engineer. That is much better that any pi that does a speed test. You can close this thread there is no longer a need for it. I have found a better project! Now what was my twitter bot called.
