First I'd like to notice that i'm happy to be a new member of the raspberry community, and i'm also novice, so I hope my questions will not sound so stupid to your hears
So here is what I want to do :
My parents are great cinema's fans but absolutely not familiar with new technology.
I wanted to use my raspberry (left the pi at their home, connected to the internet) as a media center.
I also have an old unused external hard drive where I can store movies, series etc.. who will be connected to the Pi.
This is not a big deal, there is a lot of tutorials about it on the internet, but there is one thing I would like to do and still have no answers.
I come to my parent's house like one or two times in a month now, and have an high speed connection here (100/5).
I'd like to transfers movies from my house computer to the raspberry, so anybody at my parent's home can watch a movie that I have uploaded on the disk from my house. (If I want to watch something with my parents when i'm back home, I just upload it on the Pi earlier from my house).
I have no idea how to do this, or if the media center OS (like openelec) can do this.
The Pi is connected to the internet too, and i'm planning about buying usb remote so they can use the Pi without keyboard.
Hope you understood what I meant and my english didn't make your eyes bleed.
