Hello,
Downloaded NOOBS_v1_4_0.zip, did the micro-sd blank, partition, format, unzip and boot on a new rpi-b+.
It say's "no install" without internet access. This is the alledged standalone image, NOT the internet install image.
What gives? I can see the raspbian stuff on the newly formatted and unzipped micro-sd card.
Cheers
lmc
ps: i only have dialup so a download takes 2 or 3 days.

Did you select Raspbian to install? Are you sure you downloaded the offline version of NOOBS? (How big is the zip file you downloaded?)

Hello, Well I got finally got noobs_v1_4_0 standalone to work.
The critical step seems to be; don't unzip NOOBS directly to the micro-sd card root, but unzip NOOBS somewhere else then copy (drag and drop, as instructions say) to micro-sd card. Oh well.
Must say, the raspberry-pi 2 B+ with a 16GB class 10 micro-sd card is very peppy (quicker, faster, awesomer?).
Cheers,
lmc

No Pi 2B+? Of course there is. Arrived by time machine, itself hosted on a Pi 5C++
