Can't buy from PiStore

Every time I try it goes to redirect site to use paypal it locks.

I have posted on the PiStore forum, but apparently no moderators read it

I have sent an email to indicity but no response

are there alternative sites where I can buy these programs?

or

am I doing something wrong?

what are u looking to buy and are you over in the UK or over in the US.. When i bought my first pi back in 12 when they first came out i got mine from over in the UK from RS and they sent it to me from there when they came in.. there after they posted only over in the UK,, they set up dealers over here in the US.. so mabye that is why ur payment won't go thru.. here is a link from over here in the states

I have bought from them quite a few times..... been very happy too. I was ok with RS over there also..

well actually i was trying to buy software programs offered I assume by raspberry.org at the PiStore.

programs like 100 swiss army knife and PiCon a console type program

this is what it says when I try to buy something

half the time a button doesnt even show and when it does nothing happens

dont people buy programs there?

I cant believe this is happening to everyone, although it you look at the PiStore forum on this site others have had a problem, but I posted there and nobody ever responded

Same problem. Chrome browser reported that certificate expired 44 days ago. Apparently Paypal won't link to site with expired certificate. Instead I get redirected to and can log into Paypal, but can't pay to buy anything from the Pi Store.

I have successfully downloaded free stuff from the Pi Store (Libre Office, OpenTTD, FreeCiv) and that worked fine. But no joy on paying for anything. Wanted to get FastDosBox...

Anyway, is there anything that the user needs to do to get an updated certificate showing up, e.g. remove some expired certificates from our local "keychain" or something? Used to have to do that kind of thing back in the day when using a Blackberry linked to an extremely secure network.

Any help appreciated.

Yes, I emailed them and never got a response.

You'd think somebody would care that the site isn't working!

Hello, I am the creator of PiCon. I was just made aware of this problem. I have relayed it to the person responsible for it now. Hopefully the problem will be fixed soon.

Thanks for making this free, but it looks like the Pi Store is still broken. The download link goes back to the app page. Any other way to acquire PiCon?
