Mouse Keyboard switch

Sat May 23, 2020 5:41 pm

Hi,

meanwhile I'm finding my way in the world of Pi...

Now I want multiple rPI's at 1 screen and at 1 pair of Mouse/Keboard.

The HDMI-switch is working!

There's is this USB-switch with inputs: Keyboard, Mouse, Printer and USB-stick.

Outputs: 4 times USB.

3 of the outputs are connected to 3 rPi's.
( my rPi's have 1 usb2 port )

Can't get it to work!

( When connecting mouse or keyboard directly to one of the rPi's: keyboard or mouse works fine! )

Maybe does the pi need a driver to 'see' mouse and keyboard through 1 usb?
Or should I purchase a USB-swithc with only Mouse ans Keyboard in?

Thanks in advance! Marcel

By the way, when connecting a USB-hub at the rPi's only USB-port AND at that hub I connect a mouse and a keyboard, they work bouth.

Did a quick test:

The USB switch is working fine connected to my pc.

Typing and using mouse via the USB switch right now...
