Raspberry Pi Zero W Ad-Hoc network setup

Tue Mar 07, 2017 6:32 pm

I want a quick question answered: Would the process be the same for the Pi3 as the ZeroW? I remember reading in MagPi #55 that they have the same wireless chip.

Do you rally mean ad-hoc networking (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_ad_hoc_network) or are you looking for an access point setup?
AP setup is the same for both: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... s-point.md

Did you solve?
I was trying to make the ad hoc WiFi connection too

My idea is to make a couple to raspi zero W to connect each other as soon as operatin system boots (green led if paired, red instead).
