VLC Audio from command line

Tue Jun 20, 2017 12:28 am

Hello everyone...

1.) I am using VLC version 2.2.5.1 on a Raspberian linux distribution.

2.) When I run VLC the graphic interface comes up and I can use the menus to select the audio device

Audio | Audio Device | (And then select from 18 different options with my setup).

3.) I'd like to be able to select the audio device on the fly from the command line without having to using the menus.

4.) Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Thank you!
