Debian Wheezy on a PC and BD-RE Blu-Ray Disks.

Wed Feb 04, 2015 9:52 pm

Hello,

Trying to write a re-writeable BD-RE disk on a dual boot PC, Windows 7 / Debian Wheezy OS.

Code: Select all

uname -a
Linux myPC 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.65-1+deb7u1 x86_64 GNU/Linux
The disk is formatted under Windows 7 as a UDF 2.5 file system.
I can drag & drop files under Windows with ease. What I can't do is get linux to access the disk.
I get these errors using Dolphin

Code: Select all

DBus error org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.Failed:
An operation is already pending

Code: Select all

Error mounting: mount exited with exit code 1: helper failed with:
mount: block device /dev/sr0 is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sr0,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
       dmesg | tail or so

Code: Select all

$ dmesg | tail

I can use filezilla to drag & drop, to and from the RPi.
Any body know, what linux software I need to install on the PC to access the disk?
Thanks in advance.

Regards
