IP infringement?

Sat Aug 09, 2014 12:11 pm

Something for the Foundation to look into: I've noticed German electronics postorder company Conrad sells the banana pi via their websites. Regrettably they offer it in their Raspberry Pi section :( Now, I don't know in how much the banana pi infringes on Intellectual Property rights of the RPi Foundation, but you may want to investigate for yourself:

Many shops sell Banana Pi, and I don't see anything wrong about it. They may put both in any category they want in general. Or maybe you expect Apple-alike legal actions ;)? Those even sued a.pl grocery shop as their domain is read almost like "appl" ;)
