Hublot, Chopard, Patek Philippe.

There are others, but those are the ones I'd go for.

I stopped wearing one years ago - the battery packed up and I got fed up of paying 30-40 quid every 4-5 years for new ones. Cured me of my clock-watching habit too.

If I'll need to know the time that day, I just slip my mobile phone into my pocket before I go out. (We don't seem to have a "laid back" smiley.)

How much do you have to spend?

Tag Heuer do some very nice hardware for £5000 or so.

Rolex do some nice hardware at three times that price.

Casio, Garmin etc do useful watches at less than £100.

I have seen a Breitling Hospitality area at RIAT in the past.
If you can afford a Breitling, you can probably afford Airshow tickets:-)

Yeah that reminds me, I need recommendations for a decent brand of yacht, as I just fancy a new one this Xmas. (You know I'm kidding.)

I would recommend Sunseeker in Poole. They do some really nice boats. Not sure they could get one ready for you for this Xmas but maybe next year.

If money is no object then you should get a Roger W. Smith watch.

I too have a Casio Wave Ceptor. Solar powered, radio synchronized, water resistant.
Can't fault it.
