I play minecraft. And I love the raspberry Pi. Such a neat little gadget!
I was thinking of turning the Raspberry Pi into a Minecraft Server. I found MCServer, a C++ minecraft server which apparently only uses about a fraction of the official server's resources . Ideally I will have the server open for the whole summer, headless. And I won't be always there for the pi. By the time that this occurred to me, I was thinking of every possible worst case scenario. What if the power goes down or the Pi for some reason stops working? What would happen there? Unsure, I settled for a backup plugin for the server.
//1st Question: Is there any cloud service that will let me upload the backups online, so that a friend of mine can reclaim them? Something noob-friendly would be ideal.//
//2nd Question: Can I have something like this?//
//3rd Question: Maybe adding a torrent client to the mix?//
In addition, in case of failure, it should restart...
What are your thoughts?
Lastly, sorry for the title!
