So, any ideas for a next model raspberry pi name?
Amongst the few, could be cranberry pi, blueberry pi, or chocolate-cream pie!
or perhaps some less healthy alternatives, like ham-burger, or hot-dog bun?
Lol!

I've been saying "Mucho" to my Spanish friend a lot more lately. It means a lot to him.

Re: Name your next model of the Raspberry pi!
Ah! GEORGE – I remember it well! ICL1900 Mainframe – the size of a small house, punched card input, fanfold paper output (printer spacing controlled by punched paper tape loops), disk drives the size of washing machines, processing power of a digital watch! …
But I digress. There is probably a bit of a clue in the developers – The Raspberry Pi Foundation. The Model A and B were named after the BBC Micro. Future models could, perhaps continue the alphabetic sequence, or maybe there will be a "Master" added to the mix.

Archimedes !!
the Acorn Archimedes was probably one of the machines so far ahead of its time that I suspect aliens had something to do with its concept...a Archimedes 540 could give any x86 PC a run for its money right up to mid to late 90's
if only the PC market had gone down the ARM/RISC route, imagine where we would be now

I'm reading the last post with the voice of Ronnie Barker in my head in the role of PC World Sales Assistant responding to a punters question of "which type of computer should I buy?"

Re: Name your next model of the Raspberry pi!
It'll never happen, but I wish it'd be Seagoon, which gives you the letter C without being unoriginal... I love The Goons and eps of it and the Telegoons are on YouTube. Model E should of course be Eccles. Those with no idea what I am talking about, should go to YouTube and look for the animated cartoon version of "What time is it, Eccles?"
Now off to check eBay for a cardboard, leather and string Raspi case... in case the fellow won't make lasered-acrylic cases without the logo.

Re: Name your next model of the Raspberry pi!
I know this is the off topic forum, but does that mean the posts within a thread should be off topic?
I simply don't know if that is the case or not?

I think my next Raspberry Pi will be called Raspberry Pi number 3.
"I am not a number I am a free Pi running free software."

Re: Name your next model of the Raspberry pi!
I though that was simple:
Model C.

Model C.

Re: Name your next model of the Raspberry pi!
It should be called the 'Model D' just for the spectator sport of watching all the "Why no Model C?" questions it would create.
