Here is the designer's web page, I haven't yet found out if he has divulged the blimp details.

Maybe on the video? I can't watch that, my broadband is to slow.

the Blimps they used were from Mobile Airships, a Canadian manufacturer of blimps for tradeshows and events.

All of their pricing is "on request".

watching the video in slow motion revealed that the upward and forward movement is controlled by a servo controller rotating the mounting for a pair of (linked) fans, the blimp is turned by another fan, mounted on the lower rear vane.

I'm sure you can get that stuff here too... for an example (helium cylinder rental):

...again the blimps themselves are priced on application. But surely there's a way to build a large indoor one... :o

Looks like the kit is no longer available, but there's a nice picture of the vectoring thrusters on there (appear to be built using Lego Technics gears and shafts, to rotate them.)
