Would it be an idea to have an Howto section? These Howtos can describe how to access your Raspberry Pi, setup a development environment, recover your Rasperry, programming I/O, etc?
Yep a wiki with howtos would be great, really. This way we could have pictures, information links and help all in the same location. Plus discussions like in wikipedia could help to complete and update missing informations, and everybody could participate. Definitely a good idea !
In my experience, having howtos is great, but only a first step. Then comes the real killer: keeping them updated. I'd rather have 4 good, up to date howtos than 10 bad, obsolete ones.
I think it is good to be howtos or wiki written in Japnase or such languages also.
when you write in English version , I can do translatation for Japanese.
maybe, doing such things, late after, Korean or Chinese member may come.
what a fantastic wiki you have!
Ok! Michel i will do to. it.
I think it will be good stuff for our high-schooler's home works LOL!
Anyway, it is nice to see you and please teach me when i have question.
Along the same lines a compatibility section would be nice. And by that I mean when Someone try's a piece of hardware They can report what they used and if it works properly. Of course this may be down the road a bit.
hello all.
and i am very sorry about misspelling Michael's name last time.
but now, i made wiki in Japanese.
thre are so much volume, so this time is Board only. Beginners and Tasks are later. http://elinux.org/User_talk:Nori
I should ask someone around me who knows about hardware to check it has mistake or not.
in the same time, if you are possible, anyone can read Japanese please check it.
I really like this idea - I'd love to be able to develop an Amiga style OS once I've finished building a Linux-based, Spectrum-style, Python-Powered front end!
