Raspberry air freshener...

I like this logotype. Have you entered the logo competition with it?

Yes, strangely though it looks better on a piece of cheap merchandise like this than on my submission piece!

And thanks for the positive comments!

I've been looking for a Rugby style shirt for this winter to wear.

How about Rasberry (Red/Pink) & Leaf Green stripes, with logo on the breast pocket area, or huge logo across the back!

A new idea...

1) A SD Card with the Raspberry Pi SO ... for general purposes ( office , internet and multimedia ).

2) SD Card multimedia: no loggin , x run automatic , and run a multimedia program for you.

3) Kit to enjoy with raspberry: set for use it with batteries ...

answer this questions, please.

Maybe some biscuits or snack bars? My thinking is that I can't remember ever being at a show and being lured over to a stand by t-shirts, mugs etc... however something to munch on as you walk round might appeal?

I'd personally also like some raspberry coloured cables and perhaps a mouse and mini keyboard to match the case I've got in mind, but I guess that may be rather niche and tough to source!

I'm thinking a bit about what... merchandising may attract which clients and what might that cost ?

Suppose an organisation decides to sponsor an idealistic project, buys 1 and decides to give 100 pis ?

An organisation like that may enjoy an RGB POV-clock showing time, logo and other (Pi-;) info. Such merchandising certainly will result in conversations like, "Look what I got after doing _this_ deed" as long as the clock works. Who knows who'll hear it...

A Led-Ball/Cube/Pyramid near the entrance showing raspberries/art/info may be an idea for someone giving 1000 away. Who knows how many folks with $$$ will look at it while the same line will be said ?

Of course I'm pulling numbers out of a big hat here, as electronics-hobbyist I only pay for components, nothing for design and 0.0 for hours ;-)

I do guess an artistic object as appreciation for a good deed will attract others to have a look at what you're doing...

Mmmm... a gift certificate to a shop which sells only one thing... why not offer the thing directly ?

Yeah, a gift box would make more sense or maybe just a card (pie or raspberry themed) that could include a getting started guide (including setting it up and finding manuals/links on the image).

Stickers that say "powered by raspberry pi" to stick on your toaster/ipod/dalek/nonspecific gadget

I've never seen a pie-powered toaster, sound's pretty interesting. :D

I'd buy a backpack, How about a mouse? That shouldn't be too expensive right? It could be raspberry Shaped :P

Or maybe you could sell Headphones, I always need headphones as I tend to break mine in less than half a year : /

How about Computer Necesities like USB Speakers, Keyboards, External DVD Drives, USB/Firewire adapters, etc. ?

I apologise for advertising, but seeing as no-one else has suggested badges, they're a cheap and cheerful thing for Pi-people to wear or hand out at expo's, etc., particularly since you have the striking new logo. My friends run http://www.50pbadges.com and they'd be happy to run off a few (a minimum of six, I believe, for a sampler), given (ideally) a 300ppi image of the logo. See the website for further details.

Why wear a badge, when the R-Pi could be worn?

Maybe a R-Pi clip-on card holder for the upper shirt pocket area.

Good idea. Just be careful where you do it - i.e. nowhere near any airport, major railway station or government building. http://tech.mit.edu/V127/N40/s.....mpson.html

Drawbacks -- Could the fact that:

"Simpson had five to six ounces of Play-Doh in her hands, State Police Maj. Scott Pare said in a press conference this morning. The Play-Doh could have been mistaken for plastic explosives."

had something to do with her arrest?

Bacan that's just crazy talk! :P Seriously though, look at that smile on her face, she was out to cause trouble and was perfectly okay when it found her. Who walks into an airport, refuses to answer questions about a weird electronic device in their hands and does it all while carrying playdough in their hands? Better question yet, who randomly walks around with playdough period (teachers and grandma's that's who!)

An r-pi carrying case (like a plastic slip cover) would be a fun idea.
Dear forum: Play nice ;-)

In writing a reply, I just had a flash of a Dumb Idea. Then again, look at how much $,$$$,$$$.$$s the Pet Rock made for It's Inventor. So I'm erasing the message, and checking with the US PTO.

On wearing flashing LEDs; have you seen the little Kid shoes that have flashing LEDs while they walk? Saw one yesterday with over a dozen on each shoe. I had to do a double take to tell it was LEDs, not just flashing mylar plastic discs. So, it had to be the Play-Dough and attitude she had with airport security that got her in trouble. She did not fit the profile of a Play-Dough Player; pre-Schooler or Grandmother . Arrest Her!

There's mumblings in some underground Pi-cifist circles about starting a Jobs-like cult of personality around Eben. We'll need posters. My pet idea: a spoof of an Apple ad, with Eben in a colorful flowery turtleneck and one of those english caps with flaps. Caption: geek, not chic.

It's been annoyingly difficult tracking down realtors who deal in underground lairs. My preference is for one with both sharks and a volcano, so we're still looking.

Have you thought about underwater or outer space lairs? Those are quite high fashion nowadays.
