The bits pf card are just a pisstaking exercise - did eBay have a free listing day, I wonder?

I'm more concerned about the "mobile website".  As they use the Raspberry Pi logo, I'm sure they're not legit, otherwise we ought to have heard about it here beforehand.

Have you dropped a line to Liz?

The first was a good joke, the others are poor me-toos.

The hosting provider may be a scammer or may fall foul of the trademark rules if the foundation wanted to make a complaint. Otherwise he's just out to make an honest living off the back of an interwebs phenomenon.

I haven't mentioned it to Liz. I have just started reading the questions on the cigarette packet one that he has posted on his advert (wierd).

Plus someone has already sold one of the toilet roll ones.

I've ordered this from ebay to use as a case:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2pcs.....25683234a3

I should get 2 and so intend to fix one on top of the other, with the board upstairs and a battery pack underneath.... wish me luck!

Later down the line I intend to make custom cases from probably wood at the start and f it takes off and people are interested I would probably branch out not lexan, plastic, acrylic or metal. I also think I"d be interested in making portable battery packs, depending on how much power these things use. Feel free to contact me if you are interested (admins too!). This is probably the wrong place to post this but as my inaugural post cut me some slack

Can"t wait to get my RPi (although I still haven"t gotten around to ordering one -.-). By the way, if RPi does not already have one then they should have a YouTube channel where people can post tutorial or project idea videos (Linux guides , application spotlights and maybe accessor reviews *wink wink*).

Thats a nice looking project case - the clip-top is useful as most of that size usually have 4 self tappers in the corners that take up internal space.

As for your comment about Youtube tutorials, there's something like that already:

Its a terrific volunteer effort, I think the Foundation have a lot on their plate already without having to set up their own YouTube channel so soon after launch!

btw Welcome to the Forum and that wasn't bad for a first post.   As the saying goes, seek and ye shall find!

Hey first post!

I've designed my own case for my RPi and am thinking about getting a batch made to sell on ebay (obviously donate some of the proceeds to the raspberry foundation!!)

but i want to use the raspberry logo on it... and not get sued!

anyone know if raspberry will let me use their logo/who to contact?

Email Liz - contact details are on  the ummmm Contact us link at the top of the page.

If you do get a go ahead, you could always buy the stickers to use on your case from the shop...

I am making several boxes of 3mm acrylic prototype.
And they're for sale on Ebay.
If someone has an RPI I know I can do to your specifications...

The laser cut case looks great.

Is there anyone in Cambridge UK who HAS a raspi who would like me to make them a free case? I have an underutilised 3dTouch printer…
