I had a go at making a game like image to try learn but wasn't as easy as i imagined need much practise.

Have you looked at any online tutorials on isometric pixel art? Try http://gas13.ru/v3/tutorials/isometric_ ... xelart.php for starters; it's a technique really worth using - it looks great and it's really satisfying if you're any good at it (or so I'm told…I have the artistic skills of a bowl of custard).

That takes me back to the days Deluxe Paint on the Amiga... actually I believe it's still one of the best pixel art programs around.
