when i move my SD card in the raspberry pi the OS screws up.
I will move my SD card in the SD slot of the raspberry pi and it barely barely barely 8 more barelys moves. it doesn't even move a centimeter. When it moves barely the whole pi and the OS screws up is this normal and to be expected?

The obvious answer is don't move it,

You probably have a dry joint somewhere I have mine encased in lego but it's been moved lots.

I hope you meant a millimeter noah as the slot is only about a centemeter deep.

1) Is the SD card holder broken?
2) Are any of the card holder's soldered connections damaged?
3)Look at the springs that connect to the card - are any slightly lower than they should be?
3a)How about the leaf spring that detects the card?
4) is the card itself dirty or damaged?
