I have a Pi-hole that’s a new build on a Pi0W that I’m testing having had problems with the last one just stopping after a short while and decided to put my birthday present of an InkyPhat on to it. Problem is the zero has no headers and I could not find more than five or six spares in my box so in true IT tradition I decided in my mind that the best solution was:
a) Create a new routine on the Pi-hole machine to access the stats via the web API
b) Send this data via MQTT to my old PC server
c) Use another Pi with headers to read this data and display it.
Now does that make more sense than either:
1) Use the web page on the Pi-hole application
2) Move the Pi-hole program on a Pi wth header and then just create one program
