Approval of new topics

Tue Aug 07, 2018 6:31 am

Hello,

I've recently tried posting in the "Interfacing (DSI, CSI, I2C, etc.)" subforum, and after posting, a message appeared, telling me that the post will become "live" after it gets reviewed.

My question would be, how long does this take?
Also, the post does not appear under my profile ( "0 total posts" ). Is this the normal behaviour until it gets approved?

Thanks in advance!

Can be between a few minutes and 24hrs or so depending on time of day and number of mods around. One approved your post count will increase.

First posts are held for moderation. It is an unfortunately needed anti-spammer requirement. Even so, some spam gets through, though remarkably little given the size and activity of these forums. The moderators do a truly superb job. Be nice to them...even when they have to give you a wake up call with a well aimed Clue-by-Four.
