I thought it was the code words to the moderator to lock the post because it has gone wildly of track.
For me personally it is a reminder to my kid that being called a pink fluffy unicorn is not an form of bullying. to get upset over.

See my sig for my take on it.
It originated in several short-lived threads speculating about future Pi features. Some of the contributors were ill-informed about both technology and the objectives of RPF. After several wild, extravagant suggestions were made, someone would request a Pink Pony and a Unicorn. The threads concerned would be locked soon after.

What a scam. Not naked at all.

Unicorns are said to be mythical creatures that don't exist.

As far as I can tell Pink Ponies are what little girls dream of getting for Christmas. Toys from Toys'r'Us or whatever.

Often people come here expressing a wish for all kind of Pi improvements, their own wish list of things that don't exist. And are often totally unrealistic.

Hence they get mocked with "Yes and I want a Unicorn and Pink Pony" in response.

That and the fact that Unicorns and Pink Ponies are some kind of "meme" running around the intertubes.
