I did a search on the forums and have found no mention of the contiki os. http://www.contiki-os.org/
Might be a little too advanced for what the audience it's targeting, But not for college level users who are looking for a interesting project. A project that comes to mind is having it act as a extremely agile web server. Contiki has been ported to the Apple II for this duty before. =^.^= I'm not suggesting someone do it this instant. More for the future when someone is looking for a project idea. For those that can't be bothered to click the link, Contiki is a highly portable, multi-tasking operating system for memory-efficient networked embedded systems. (Statement copied from the wiki.) I think that description could fit the Rasberry Pi. If your bored and if for no other reason, I would recommend reading contiki's history. It's rather interesting.
