I'm sobering up enough so that I can sleep tonight (I already had to pull the optical drive out of my desktop and futz with the transport so I could listen to a couple of CD's because it decided to go "clickety-clickety-clunk" tonight).

It's working again now. Why are optical drives (even expensive ones) so unreliable?

The rest of my spare time this weekend will be devoted to riding my dirtbike and cultivating another hangover. There's some other stuff related to Newton polynomials that can really wait 'til Monday.

Oh - yes, now I'm retired it's all "spare" time....

Favourite activities are watching beach bunnies, drinking wine and/or beer, and walking Nelliedog...
