$2.5 bn is tiny on a government level.Don't get me wrong. Landing on Mars is incredible, but when prioritising Scientific and Technological spending I can think of a lot of things that come above flying to Mars at a cost of $2.5 billion. Where are the solutions to the world's energy problems, for instance?
