That appears to be the full Windows version of Minecraft. Why wouldn't Microsoft use a product that they own to do that?

What we need to encourage Microsoft/Mojang to do is update the Minecraft Personal Edition (MCPE) on the RPi to something that includes some of the three years of product changes since it was originally released.

No, issues there, its for a good cause.

Thats my point, we already have a platform, they could have shown us some love and included the RPi version in the program too.

...and they need to make a great deal of money out of it cover their costs in buying it in the first place!

I suspect that, despite the support for Win10IoT on the Pi, the Pi makes MS a bit nervous. It teaches kids that there *are* other OSes, and that they can actually "own" their hardware plus have free rein with the software on it.

Eben is probably clever enough to convince even MS that Minecraft Pi deserves an update...at least I sure hope so.
